With a smooth, sweeping swing, the superimposed facade sets the tone for a surface area of more than 590 square metres. Starting three stories high and then stepping down to two, the facade envelopes two sides of the entirely renovated building complex in the Oberursel town centre.

The facade is inventively designed featuring three levels. Each level is composed of alphamesh 12.0 polished stainless steel welded ring mesh panels. The step-like configuration provides a perspective view of the levels overlapping each other, resulting in a vibrant moiré effect. In daylight hours, the reflective capacity of the building’s external ring meshes shell turn it into a veritable eye-catcher. And with the new facade’s coloured LED system bathing the building in pure gold, radiant white or cool blue, the same can indisputably be said for the Taunus Sports Store also when it is dark!
